because hope heals.
Our MISSION
Camp Hope Foundation brings hope and healing to children diagnosed with cancer, sickle cell disease, and related blood disorders- and to their families- through free, medically safe camps and year-round programs that nurture friendship, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
our impact
The Camp Hope Foundation consistently serves 115 campers-75 patient campers and 45 sibling campers- and their families every year with the help of over 300 volunteers. We work with 20 OSF College of Nursing cabin counselors, 12 Illinois State University Child Life cabin counselors, and offer 24/7 on-site medical supervision during our annual camp program. In addition to our Camp Hope program, we offer Hope Connections, a year-round co-facilitated family support program for on-therapy families, and Legacy of Hope, a year-round licensed counselor-facilitated bereavement program serving families who have experienced the loss of a child. We go beyond the medical to offer those affected by cancer and blood disorders community, education, and resources.

programs
We seek to offer services beyond the annual Camp Hope program. From young adult survivorship retreats to a program for the children of cancer patients, we are building the foundation for a year-round community of support for patients and their families.
